Preparation Course for the English Teacher Recruitment Exam
Starting in January 2027, this course is designed to provide preparation for the AB22 English Teacher Recruitment Exam (Foreign Languages and Cultures in Lower and Upper Secondary Education).
The programme covers the history, civilisation, and literature of the English-speaking world, from the origins of Celtic culture to the present day. Students will explore the major historical, political, social, and cultural developments that have shaped the United Kingdom and the United States, examining their impact on the societies and cultures of both countries.
Particular emphasis is placed on the most influential authors of English and American literature. Through the study of their works, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the historical and social contexts in which these writers lived and how their literature reflects the values, realities, and transformations of their time.
